Masato Kawai who curated the exhibition commented:
“Prouvé’s furniture has an industrial ruggedness, but it is also attractive with a certain intellectual and elegant appeal coming from the carefully considered structure. With the exhibition we have created a ‘garage space’ – the idea of a private, secluded spot, surrounded by your favourite things such as bicycles, art, music, etc. The playful styling will hopefully appeal to those who are new to Prouvé designs.”

The exhibition “Le garage de Jean Prouvé” runs until 6th November.
They are showcasing the new colours for Jean Prouvé chairs alongside matching limited edition colours for tokyobike.
