A serving bowl, ideal for noodles or rice and stackable for easy storage. They are produced using a technique called Shin-nuri, where the lacquer is repeatedly filtered to carefully remove dust and the final finish is made with a single coat leaving no brush marks to create a luxurious finish.
Traditional Echizen lacquer is said to take 100 years to fully harden but through research and collaboration, the lacquer they have developed is immediately 'dishwasher proof'.
