The Sori Yanagi Appreciation Society

tokyobike hosts an exhibition and book launch, in collaboration with British designer Michael Marriott and writer Duncan Riches. The event marks the founding of The Sori Yanagi Appreciation Society, a platform for those who wish to show their appreciation for the life and work of Japanese industrial designer Sori Yanagi (1915-2011). Featuring a specially composed presentation of Sori Yanagi designs, along with the launch of The Sori Yanagi Appreciation book, published by Rollo Press, with contributions from over 100 designers, artists, writers, curators and academics on the subject.
