tokyobike + Ace Hotel
We teamed up with Ace hotel for the launch of their first property outside the US. A custom made single speed model was created for guests to explore East London.
Much loved by guests, two new colorways were created for the DTLA location.
For guests wanting to take the experience home tokyobike produced a limited run of bikes that were available to purchase through the London and LA stores.
For the launch of the Kengo Kuma designed outpost in Kyoto, tokyobike worked with a revered producer of lacquerware to create four custom made frames. The 8th generation craftsmen coated each bike in Urushi lacquer to give a wonderfully rich colour and sheen.
