Buku Sayisa (Ethiopia), Light Roast Beans 150g
Intense Berry-Like Fruitiness with Floral and Citrusy, Refreshing Aftertaste
This coffee is processed at the Addisu Wet Mill, located in the village of Buku within the Hambela district of the Guji region. The name "Buku Sayisa" means "Valley of Blessings" and is derived from the name of the valley where this coffee is cultivated.
Hambela Wamena is one of the highest-altitude coffee-growing areas in Ethiopia, with farms situated at an elevation of 2,350 meters.
The high altitude plays a crucial role in shaping the unique flavor profile of the coffee produced at this washing station. Due to the region’s elevated location, the harvest season arrives later than in other areas, allowing the coffee cherries to ripen slowly. This extended maturation process enhances sugar development, resulting in a distinctively sweet and flavorful cup.
