Hiba Wood Reed Diffuser

The Hiba Wood Reed Diffuser gently fills the room with the fragrance from the Aomori Hiba tree. Packed with anti-bacterial and insect-repelling qualities, the branches absorb the oil and diffuse the rich, relaxing fragrant, while deodorising the room.

Aomori Hiba is a slow-growing, long lived cypress tree whose wood has been used in the construction of temples and notable buildings throughout Japan for centuries. Hiba wood is naturally an antiseptic, water-resistant, insect-repelling, and a calming aromatic. Cul de Sac have developed a way to vapor extract the essential oil used in their products from waste lumber harvested from 250-year-old trees, recycling this useful and pleasing material.

3 x Hiba Branches
3 x Rattan sticks

Materials: 100% natural hiba wood essential oil / hiba powder
Dimensions: 150 mm reed sticks / 170 mm hiba branches
Capacity: 35ml (hiba oil) / 60ml (*containing hiba powder)

Directions of use:

Pour half of the oil into the glass bottle with the powder, place the branches of Hiba into the bottle and let the scent diffuse. For a more intense or lasting diffusion add the reed sticks. From time to time, reverse the sticks to renew the diffusion. Once scent begins to fade add remaining oil.
