A stool, designed by Koichi Futatsumata, perfect for perching with one foot on the rest. Light but reassuringly stable, the stool has three different height variants for use at a table or counter and for kids to adults. Its produced using Kurikoma Cedar prized for its durability and staight grain.

Ishinomaki Laboratory
Founded in 2011 in response to the Great East Japan Earthquake, ISHINOMAKI LABORATORY was established to support the recovery of Ishinomaki City. Led by architect Keiji Ashizawa, a team of passionate designers collected repair tools and timber to create a public DIY space, encouraging community creativity and self-reliance. They later expanded into designing and producing furniture, launching the brand “Ishinomaki Koubou,” which promotes handmade craftsmanship both locally and internationally.
