A chopping board made from a solid piece of Japanese Hinoki wood. Wonderfully aromatic, the wood has antimicrobial and anti-fungal properties making it an ideal material for chopping boards. Dried for 3-6 months, each piece of wood is carefully shaped and sanded to be gentle on your favourite knife.
The workshop where the boards are made has been operating since the 1960s. Located amidst the mountain ranges of Kochi, Japan, they use sustainable methods of production and remain devoted to the preservation of the forests and lakes around them.
