
This traditional Japanese apron or ‘Maekake’ (which translates as ‘hanging in front’) is woven on a vintage shuttle loom, exactly the same way they were made 250 years ago.
Crafted from thick, cotton canvas and hand indigo-dyed, this durable apron includes the traditional fringed bottom and two side pockets. Unisex and one size fits most.
