A plate stand made from cherry wood, oil-finished. The mid-size in a set of three, designed for displaying ceramics without competing with them. The torque hinge sets the opening angle and holds it; brass fittings secure the plate at the front.

Designed on commission from Nishikizan Kiln, a Kutani overglaze studio.

Made in Japan.

Construction

Torque hinge allows the opening angle to be set and held. Brass fittings at the front secure the plate.
