Universal Works x tokyobike Mechanics Jacket, a customised version of their classic Baker Jacket in 100% cotton navy twill. Keeping with their ethos of making real, honest clothing, based on fit and good design, the jackets have been carefully tailored to provide a relaxed and functional uniform for day to day life in or out of the workshop.
Features:
A slightly roomier fit for cycling ease
Five button-front
Two lower wrap-around patch pockets
One chest patch pocket
One internal button-close patch pocket
Button adjustable cuffs
This collaboration started with a jacket designed for our mechanics to wear in the workshop and has developed organically, resulting in a bicycle for the UW Nottingham team to use for moving goods between locations and a small range of UW designs under the banner 'Make Nice Things'.

About the Brand
Universal Works produce contemporary menswear. The company's first collection launched in 2009 with David Keyte (UW co-founder, director, designer) working from his kitchen table with an aim to make real, honest clothing based on fit and good design, though never over designed.
