A chestnut wood lid that fits the size 90 Bowl, Cup and Mug from the TRIP WARE series. The hole in the centre is sized to hold a butter knife or a sugar spoon upright — functional at a breakfast table as well as useful for storage.

Made by Sato Mokuzai Container in Akita from chestnut wood grown in the Tohoku region. The grain of the chestnut comes through clearly; the surface will develop its own character with use.

Made in Japan.
