The tokyobike team in Japan have worked together with glove brand tet. to create a winter glove designed for life on and off the bike. Made from super warm, heat retaining, Eco Fleece which is hardwearing and windproof, the back of the glove has a reflective detail for visibility after dark while the palm has a non-slip surface with touch screen functionality on the fingers.

Tet was born in Higashikagawa City, located at the eastern end of Kagawa Prefecture, an area that has been producing gloves since the Meiji era. Its a small town surrounded by the Seto Inland Sea and the Sanuki Mountains, where nature is abundant and skills like glove making are still found.

Their concept was to produce gloves in Higashikagawa, with a view to maintaining the skills and production expertise synonymous with the area, at a time when the majority of production had moved overseas.

Each piece is carefully made with the know-how accumulated over generations and the delicate handiwork of craftsmen backed by modern technology.
