Made at Ishikawa Meriyasu in Mikawa, Aichi - where the Japanese gunté work glove was born. The yarn is tokuboushi: produced from B-grade cotton that cannot be sold to the standard market, spun into a yarn with a warmth and texture that machine-uniform cotton cannot produce. Polyurethane is added to the blend for fit and insulation; colour nep yarns give each pair a speckled, handmade quality that makes picking one a pleasure.

The yarn is tokuboushi (特紡糸) - a recycled fibre yarn spun from B-grade cotton that cannot be sold to the standard market. The uneven, handmade quality of the yarn produces a warmth and texture that machine-uniform cotton cannot replicate. Polyurethane is mixed into the fabric for fit and insulation; colour nep yarns add a speckled, analog character.

Care

Hand wash in cool water. Do not tumble dry - fabric will shrink. Keep away from open flame and high heat.
