The Yorisou Nesting Bowl Set was co-developed with cook and registered dietitian Akari Hasegawa to combine practicality with simple, beautiful design.

The set includes four versatile pieces: a soup bowl, rice bowl, small multi-purpose bowl, and an everyday small plate—perfect for a variety of daily meals. Durable and easy to use, each piece is dishwasher, microwave, and oven safe (up to 150°C), and the bowls nest neatly for compact storage.

Finished in soft matte white with a handcrafted feel, the ceramics use partially recycled clay, making the set both practical and thoughtfully designed for everyday use or gifting.

Kihon no Utsuwa, meaning 'basic utensils', offers simple, versatile tableware for any occasion. Produced in Tajimi City, Gifu Prefecture, the brand focuses on sustainable practices, using a blend of local clays and a unique Tōno region technique. They’ve advanced this method to recycle discarded ceramics, incorporating finely crushed pieces into their products to reduce waste and conserve resources.

Please note that many of the tableware pieces are handcrafted, leading to variations in glaze colour, thickness, scorching, and logo placement. These unique characteristics, only possible through handcrafting.
