The perfect way to enjoy the Shoreditch Design Triangle, each ride is guided by a leading industry figure who will bring a wealth of knowledge and unique insight into the many installations and events.

Design studio Akasaki & Vanhuyse presents their ongoing research project, Random Residency. Exploring the question of “What is long-lasting design?”, they collected vintage objects from across Japan and Europe. Displayed at tokyobike in a setting inspired by Japanese Kotto-Ichi antiques markets, where visitors can browse and purchase pieces.

Colour has long been a powerful tool for expression, a philosophy reflected in Wada Sanzo’s - 'A Dictionary of Color Combinations'. The influential book, documenting palettes shaped by Japanese aesthetics and Western influence, helped inspire the return of tokyobike’s Sand Brown and Beige Red colours.
